Tricky questions?

Here's how to most effectively handle one of the most common ones.

What is your salary requirement?

BAD: "Uh...what are you paying?"

BETTER: (Mention a range) "I was hoping for something between $26,000 to $28,000."

BEST: "Salary is often an awkward subject.
What range would you consider fair for my background?"

The Interviewer has just asked if you have any questions.
