Corbett has served on the local and state boards of the trade associations of staffing services. She is currently certified with the City of Houston's Affirmative Action Division as a WBE (Women's Business Enterprise).

As a member of state and national professional organizations, Corbett keeps current with trends affecting this industry, its clients, as well as the laws governing same. Corbett is active in the Texas Association of Staffing (TAS) and the American Staffing Association (ASA).
